April
Receptionist
April is a receptionist who may greet you as you walk in the office or assist after your office visit. April pleasantly reminds patients when they are due for their professional cleanings and exams as well.
As a spelling bee champion, April enjoys playing Words with Friends, reading US Weekly, and taking walks. Something you, as well as the rest of us, did not know is that April went to high school with Dr. Jarvie’s daughters!
Laura
Assistant/Receptionist
Laura is a dental assistant as well as receptionist who goes out of her way to make patients feel comfortable, as she knows it is not everyone’s preferred place to be. Laura enjoys working with Dr. Jarvie and Dr. Ross because of the kindness they show to their patients and staff. Laura ensures patients that they will have a pleasant time at our office because the staff is professional and kind. As an active member of the clinical staff, Laura feels Dr. Jarvie and Dr. Ross are very gentle when administering anesthetic which increases patients comfort level. Laura especially enjoys assisting Dr. Jarvie and Dr. Ross during extractions and restorative crowns.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and son, cooking and trying new food, as well as working out and volunteering on the weekends.
Michelle
Receptionist
Michelle is a receptionist who started working for Dr. Jarvie at the Lincoln Mall office as an orthodontic assistant and appointment coordinator. Michelle then followed Dr. Jarvie to the Flossmoor office when he relocated the practice. In 1998, Michelle took a leave of absence to raise her family and then returned in 2008, just in time to open the current office in Mokena. Michelle accommodates and assists patients by scheduling appointments and resolving insurance issues.
In her spare time, Michelle enjoys being an active member of the PTO and sews costumes for the school concerts, as well as spending quality time with her family.
Nancy
Receptionist
Nancy is a receptionist who has worked with Dr. Jarvie and Dr. Ross for 18 years. In that time, Nancy has had the pleasure to truly get to know the patients of the practice as well as watch many take control of their dental and overall health. Patients enjoy seeing Nancy as they check out after their visit due to her enjoyable and free-spirited personality. Nancy also monitors financial aspects of the office which allows her to build professional and trusting relationships with the patients.
In her free time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Vicki
Assistant
Vicki is a dental assistant who focuses on patient care, assisting the doctor, and lab work. Vicki has a comical side and enjoys making people laugh with her personable yet professional personality. After 11 years of dedication to the practice, Vicki has become the main assistant of Dr. Jarvie and Dr. Ross. Her favorite aspect of her job is assisting with restorative crowns because she finds that it is a good opportunity to get to know her patients as well as hone her lab skills. With her soothing and friendly tone, Vicki enjoys educating patients on upcoming treatment. Vicki appreciates Dr. Jarvie and Ross's understanding personality not only with patients, but with staff members as well.
Aside from assisting for Dr. Jarvie and Dr. Ross full time, Vicki enjoys spending quality time with her family participating in fun activities such as camping.
Maureen
Registered Dental Hygienist
Maureen is a registered dental hygienist who has worked with Dr. Jarvie for over 19 years. She performs dental prophylaxis (cleaning), scaling and root planning, screenings for periodontal disease and oral cancer, takes radiographs, and applies fluoride and sealants. Attending several continuing education courses annually, reading dental hygiene periodicals, and keeping in touch with hygienists and educators throughout the state allows her to stay abreast of the most current and innovative research, treatments, and products available. As an active member of the Dental Hygiene Association, Maureen has served as president and as component trustee for the South Suburban Dental Hygiene Society and currently serves as president for the Illinois Dental Hygiene Association. She enjoys working with Dr. Jarvie and Dr. Ross as it allows her to practice dental hygiene utilizing the most modern equipment and techniques to provide the highest quality care for her patients in a comfortable and compassionate environment.
Maureen lives with her husband, George, on a small farm where they enjoy organic gardening and beekeeping.
Caitlin
Assistant
Caitlin is a dental assistant providing patient care, education, and accommodating our patients’ clinical needs. Caitlin shows concern for patients of the practice by providing a comfortable atmosphere and educating patients on any and all procedures, questions, and concerns. Although she has worked with many dentists in multiple practices, Caitlin enjoys working side by side with Dr. Jarvie and Dr. Ross because of the collaborative effort made to provide the most professional and detailed work as possible. Caitlin obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Counseling, and is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Counseling Education yet still makes it a priority to attended the Mid-Winter Dental Convention every year and continues to educate herself in the dental field. Most importantly, Caitlin takes pride in the fact that Dr. Jarvie and Dr. Ross' entire staff strides for success with patient’s dental care and go above and beyond to accommodate them in many areas within the practice.
Christi
Registered Dental Hygienist
Christi is a registered dental hygienist. Her passion for dental hygiene came naturally while working as a dental assistant. She then received her dental hygiene degree in 2008 at Prairie State College. Along with performing dental prophylaxis and scaling and root planning treatments, Christi believes that patient education is her most critical role as a hygienist. She believes that oral health is where overall health begins and strives to give her patients the best treatment possible. Christi grew up in Tinley Park and now resides in Manteno with her husband, Richard. She enjoys cooking, decorating, and entertaining guests. She also loves camping, traveling (especially to Texas) and may impress you with her knowledge on Pro-Football statistics! Christi believes that it is because of Jesus Christ that she is blessed to be able to enjoy all of these things and stands true to her faith in Him.
Eisha
Clinical Tech
Eisha is a clinical tech who assists Dr. Jarvie and Dr. Ross, the hygienists, and assistants. Eisha is currently completing her general education courses at Moraine Valley Community College as one of the youngest students enrolled. She is extremely efficacious and takes pride in her work in school and at the office. Eisha has an inviting and sincere personality which patients enjoy. The staff especially enjoys Eisha’s thoroughness and great sense of humor.
